Internationally recognized  researcher in the area of Computational Linguistic with a focus on extracting actionable intelligence from data.

Sharon served as CEO of Language Analytic Corporation (2007-2010), where she focused on Computational Linguistics work on various federal contracts. She was the Innovation Lead at the Stack Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Siena College from 2010-2016.  Sharon formed the Siena College Institute for Artificial Intelligence in 2010 to support multi-disciplinary student research projects extracting intelligence from data at the undergraduate level.
She received her Masters and Doctorate in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Albany and her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Siena College.
Sharon's strong science and business background allows her to serve many roles. In addition to managing the overall operations of the company, she is an early and integral part of the custom solutions designed for IR's clients.

Karl Appel, CTO

Karl is lead developer of artificial intelligence software development. He utilizes his knowledge of technology commercialization and intimate understanding of customer needs to create software for eCommerce.

His focus is on gathering actionable intelligence from large data sets for our clients. Karl spearheads Google Analytics analysis and Google Adwords management.

Karl has a Masters in Technology Commercialization & Entrepreneurship from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Siena College.
